Here’s something totally different that Iv’e been up to these days.
I’m building a hollow body electric acoustic guitar that is based on a 1920’s Oscar Schmidt Stella guitar tha I have. I’m a huge fan of ragtime blues and country blues from the early 20th century and as a matter of fact if you’ll pass near my house in Tel-aviv in the evening you might think youv’e end up on the banks of the Mississippi because that’s when I play the blues.
My teacher is Jacob Algranati who is a very talented luthier and I was also received a lot of help from Gil Ovadia.
I will finish it within the next few weeks. The body is made from black limba the top will be flamed maple and the neck is mahogany and ebony.
