A gift from a customer - 1973 book

March 15th, 2010 by admin

Got this great gift for my Birthday from a client/friend from Germany.

1973 book

It’s a book that contains different events from 1973 (the year I was born)
and it delivers the feel the sights and the sounds of that year.
The book included a cd with different tunes from that year, there I found myself a Jewish guy rambling through the streets of Tel Aviv in my French car with a gift from Germany
listening to Classic American tunes and experiencing the fact that we are not
Israelis; French, German etc…but simply human.

Thoughts about My 37th Birthday

March 2nd, 2010 by admin

This week I will celebrate my 37th birthday. The use of the numbers 3 and 7 repeat itself through much of my work. They are also related to a new secret project I’m working on, but that is for next time. In this email I wish to share a revelation and deep insight experience I had around ten years ago.

It was a Friday afternoon and I was working on some sacred geometry sketches. I was enthused by the idea that the whole reality is based on certain mathematical laws represented in sacred geometrical bodies. It led me to the thought – why does creation exists in first place?

I was very tired and my head ached so I didn’t expect an answer. Suddenly, in a mysterious way, I had a vision of the letters of the Hebrew word for experience, HAVAYA. I watched the letters and was surprised to see that the letters split into two different words HAVA-YA meaning - experience G-D. Then it came to me. If the whole creation was in a unity, it could not have the ability to experience anything as it has no relative point of view. From that I draw that the essences of creation is to experience itself and understand itself. We are all part of one force which through us experiences itself and that experience is called – LIFE.

The Ultimate experience of that force is love. That is why we are all searching for it. It is fascinating to see that in Hebrew the word love is composed of the letters H which symbols G-D and the letters A and B which symbols the one that split itself and forms the creation.

We are not humans aspiring to be spiritual but we are one spiritual force that experiences humanity!

I wish you great experiences of love and insight,
David

The gordian knot - My personal story

November 10th, 2008 by admin

David’s personal story with the Torus tube (the Gordian knot):

My personal story with this symbol happened in 2001. One of the buyers of my jewelry in Israel was going through a crisis when her son suddenly died. I went to visit and console her and on my way south I stopped at a shop to buy some music for the road. The CD I purchased was “Who’s next” by The Who.In the bag I was carrying was a model of the triangular Torus knot, presented on my website as the Gordian knot. This was a new design and the first time I created something without knowing what it meant. Usually I design a model according to an idea I have or a symbol with a clear meaning. That time, the model was created without my understanding of its meaning. On the way I was thinking of a name for the design and suddenly I thought of the story about Alexander the great and the Gordian knot. The story is of Gordias who created a knot – the one who can un-tie the knot will concur all of Asia. Alexander the great did his best to un-tie the knot and finally he took out his sword and cut it in a swift. On my way south I opened the cover of the CD and inside was a booklet issued for the 30th anniversary of this record. I opened the booklet and the first thing that captured my eye was the words “The Gordian knot”. “This is interesting”, I thought. I played the CD and it opened with the electronic loop I know from the song “Baba O’riley”. I knew this record by heart but this time something interesting happened. Images started running in my mind and I found myself experiencing a situation that occurred 30 years earlier. I saw the composer of this song, the guitar player Pete Townshend, sitting in front of an electronics device filled with buttons and plugs. In some way I knew he was working on the opening tune for the song I was just listening to. The device he was using was some sort of a primitive synthesizer; he was inserting numbers and receiving sounds.Eventually he inserted the date of birth and demise of a character knows as “Maher Baba” and the device made a happy tune. Although I didn’t know who this character was more and more data appeared. First I thought of Persia and then of India, only to discover later that he was born to a Persian family in India. This character that came out of those happy tunes just made me laugh. I started laughing happily with no apparent reason. The next morning I went to the store of the buyer I was going to see. In one of the displays in the shop was a booklet and inside was a story called “From the stories of Maher Baba”. The story I read was about Buddha and his student Ananda who seeks to learn of the great illusion Buddha is talking about. Buddha shows his student how his whole life and everything he experiences, including time itself, are a total illusion. Maher Baba signed this story, calling himself “the cosmic joke”. What took me by surprise was that some time before I gave a lecture on Sacred Geometry and the perception of unity, stating to my listeners that the universe is a “Cosmic joke”. Maher Baba himself claimed to be an Avatar, divine unity awareness in a human body. He explained that every living creature is a part of the same divine unity and each ones aspires to become one with it again.

Meher Baba Cite

Meher Baba upheld the concept of nonduality, the view that diverse creation, or duality, is an illusion and that the goal of life is conscious realization of the absolute Oneness of God inherent in all animate and inanimate beings and things. Meher Baba compares God’s original state to an infinite, shoreless ocean which has only unconscious divinity — unaware of itself because there is nothing but itself. From this state, God had the “whim” to know Himself[87], and asked “Who am I?”[88] In response to this question, creation came into existence. In this analogy, what was previously a still, shoreless Ocean now stirred[89], forming innumerable “drops” of itself or souls.

The Green Stone Dream

April 6th, 2008 by admin

In 1995, I had a dream that sent me looking for a mysterious green stone:
“A store appeared in one of the alleys. It had a fantastic variety of artifacts including unusual stones. I asked the sales girl for a green stone named “Shamballa”. She said that they didn’t have that stone and showed me stones from different star systems.”

The answer to my dream came that same year. A friend told me about a mumbling beggar who was walking around a street near my home in Tel-Aviv saying all kinds of things… Despite of my hesitation, we went out looking for him. We soon found him. He studied me for a few minutes while my friend went to get him something to eat. Then he said to me ‘You’re the mystic, you’re looking for the stone!’ He yelled ‘Once I had gold; now I have Iron!’

Two weeks later a different friend brought me a copy of ‘The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean’. After looking at this book I understood that this was the green stone I was looking for. It had everything - alchemy, Shamballa, and the great pyramid of Giza….”
Enjoy the cosmic joke!

The Discus fish

June 21st, 2007 by admin

One of my greatest hobbies is growing exotic fish (especially Discus fish). I love fish because the idea behind the Vesica Pisces (literally “the measure of the fish”) which is the basic of the universe’s proportion.

From my aquarium:

Discus fish

I also feel very connected to the philosophy concerning water and their ability to change form and to flow between all places, connecting everyone and everything. In the book of Dune by Frank Herbert it is written From the waters shall come all life” and I find this to be very true.

The fish I grow all come from the Amazonas River which I find to be one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth.
